Faces of Our Impact: 2024 End-of-Year Campaign

This year, Faces of Our Impact celebrates the incredible stories of resilience, growth, and transformation of those we’ve had the privilege to support at the Latin American Coalition (LAC). Each face tells a unique story of hope and opportunity made possible by donors like you, who enable us to continue our mission.

Throughout 2024, LAC has supported over 15,000 individuals through essential programs like immigration assistance, youth education, employment support, and housing stability. Our commitment to empowering Latin American individuals and families in Charlotte is unwavering, and we invite you to be a part of this journey.

LAC is also proud to host some of the largest free cultural events in Charlotte, bringing together over 35,000 visitors across four signature events. This year’s Latin American Festival alone drew more than 15,000 attendees, offering a vibrant, immersive experience that showcased the diversity and beauty of Latin American heritage. We ended the season with our 20th Día de Muertos, gathering 18,000 visitors in a powerful celebration of Mexican and Central American traditions that has become a cherished part of Charlotte’s cultural history.

Since its founding in 1990, the Latin American Coalition has been the first Latino organization in North Carolina. Over the years, we have provided support to thousands of individuals and families, contributing to their more positive integration into our community.
