A word from our director

I vividly remember driving home from school in 2020 with a pierced heart for our children in public school. I cried on my drive, pouring out my heart to God telling him that our children deserved so much more. The next day I journaled the following message. 'Lord, the system that I've given my life's work to is broken. It is anti-God, has an agenda that devalues the family and no longer challenges great minds. We've over sexualized our children and stifled creative thinking. I don't recognize this system anymore. The system can't raise kids to know and follow Jesus Christ. I want to be part of the solution'. What I was seeing on a daily basis was what most people never see. My heart was broken.

Here we are at the end of 2024 and God asked my husband, Doug, and I to be part of the solution. He heard my heart's cry for our children. We are launching Equip 210Spokane. A school that will partner with parents to educate their children in their identity in Christ. We believe that children are God's masterpiece - made in God's image. They hold in themselves the seed of God and are full of potential and destined with purpose.
