What brings all of us together is horses and our love for them.

For those who share our love, understanding, and appreciation of the gift's horses bring to our lives and know education is the door to success, help us bring to life an educational equestrian refuge for all to enjoy.

For the horse kids and adults whose hearts still beat for “that one horse,” who still love the smell of a barn, clean shavings, the soft touch and warm breath of a nuzzle into your cheek, remembering what it was like to fly across an open field hearing only the sound of hoofbeats as two souls connect, becoming one.

We see you! We hear you! And this place -- what we are building -- is for you! It is for all of us.

Truth be told, alarm bells are ringing! Professionals in our industry are in survival mode. Large animal vets are in sharp decline, with only 48 large animal vets entering the practice nationally every year. I'm no mathematician, but that's less than one large animal vet per state! Even worse, according to AAEP, the American Association of Equine Practitioners, 60% will leave their practice within three years.

The #1 crisis that affects every level, every discipline, every amateur, every equine professional; the crisis we are all facing…is the decline of equine veterinarians across the country.

We simply Do Not have the next generation to fill all the required professional positions necessary to sustain a thriving industry. Period. Hard Stop.

Combine this with the current generation that does not have access to streamlined equine education.

-And the horses are the ones that suffer-

Younger generations no longer have easy access to farms and ranches to experience what it's like to be one with the land, to connect with a 1,000-pound soul, to cultivate and grow something on their own, and to partner with nature. They do not have available mentors or the understanding or education to fill those roles.

We will be the place where amateurs and professionals thrive -- a place for collaboration and innovation. A place where everyone is supported, and education is the key.

Equis Amare College Preparatory Academy (EACPA) horse park is a 501c3 secondary-level educational institution developed by incorporating equine science and agricultural industry study into an exceptional core curriculum accessible to all.

EACPA will provide STEM education and AP coursework alongside the academic partnership formed with the adjacent horse park.

Through this unique learning environment, we will be able to give students the experience of real-time applied theory in an agricultural equine setting, where they will be required to apply their core curriculum academia to hands-on problem-solving and innovation. This unique academic partnership will set our students up for success in whatever careers and endeavors they choose to pursue.

The Horse Park:

Will be an equestrian educational facility, adjacent to the school campus, open to the public.
A community resource hub that provides educational classes, equine boarding, training, and educational events in the ideal agricultural environment for equine enthusiasts of all ages, disciplines, experience levels, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Where anyone can develop a foundational education on subjects such as ranch management, equine law, hay cultivation, (how to grow your own hay), equine biology, therapy, history; classes in equine first aid, ornamental horticulture, what is safe and non-toxic to horses?
Courses to safely learn how to haul a trailer, fit a saddle correctly, and learn the correct nutritional needs of their horse -- all taught by professional industry leaders.

It is a place where you can practice and learn a variety of subject matters, with professional instruction and mentorship.

Our educational horse park is where professionals and amateurs alike will come together in a positive, supportive environment to share ideas, theories, and thoughts on how to strengthen our superpower and the industry that supports it.

It is a place where education, ethical practices, and professional collaboration create a thriving environment where the horse's welfare organically comes first.

We are about to enter into one of the most critical phases of our project as we prepare to finalize all of the studies needed to enter into the planning process with the county, meet with the AAC board, and continue to build our campaign and media presences.

As we embark on this journey, we ask our fellow equestrians, professionals and amateurs alike, Rodeo moms and Horse show dads, Hunters/Jumpers and Barrel Racers, 3-Dayers, Trail Riders, Vaulters, Reiners, Dressage and Drivers, our fellow Cowgirls and Cowboys, Equine enthusiasts of all ages, and everyone else who shares our passion for education and everything equine, to unite! This is our time! This is our call to action!

With your support, the sanctuary for all equine enthusiasts will become a reality.
