Pastor Eric's Cataract Surgery

Pastor Eric is losing his sight in his right eye due to a cataract. While this surgery is covered within Costa Rica's social health care, the waiting list for procedures such as this is at least two years, and could more likely be pushed back to over a dozen years. 

At 68, Eric continues to faithfully serve the Lord full time, ministering the love of Jesus and preaching the gospel throughout Costa Rica. He has voluntarily served with CANOPI since its inception in 2015. While he has no plans of slowing down, his impaired vision impacts his driving and his ability to minister in general. 

In Costa Rica, the average cost for cataract surgery is $2000 per eye; but after shopping this rate, Eric has found a provider willing to accept $1300. Please help us serve the man who has selflessly served so many others.
