This Pride, Callen-Lorde is uplifting the many meanings of health within our communities with our theme Express Your Health. Callen-Lorde plays a vital role in the health and wellbeing of LGBTQ people, those living with HIV/AIDS, and folks who are uninsured — regardless of ability to pay.

Join us in fundraising for Callen-Lorde this June to help sustain our commitment to providing accessible, affirming health care for our communities, empowering them to express their health.

We have a guide and lots of resources for you to get started! Visit this link for instructions, social media assets, virtual backgrounds, and more! If you raise $250 or more, we'll send you a limited edition Express Your Health t-shirt!

Here are a few ways you can fundraise:

As an individual! Create and share your unique fundraising page with your networks, emphasizing why LGBTQ health care is important to you!
In your workplace! Create a fundraising page for your workplace, and encourage your colleagues, clients, and communities to join your organization in championing LGBTQ health care this Pride.
By hosting an event! Create a fundraising page for your event, and ask attendees to support Callen-Lorde in lieu of or in addition to an attendance fee, for a raffle, or some other incentive!

How to get set up:

Step 1: Visit this page (https://givebutter.com/ExpressYourHealth), and click the Fundraise button on the left below the Express Your Health art.

Step 2: Fill in your contact information, and upload a profile photo if you would like to! (If you participated in our Rainbow Run in 2021 or 2022, you likely already have an account and can opt to sign in instead of re-entering your information.)

Step 3: Enter in your fundraising goal (don’t worry, you can always update it), and add your story - why do you support Callen-Lorde’s work? Here’s a sample:

This Pride, I am supporting Callen-Lorde because the organization has been transforming lives in LGBTQ communities through excellent comprehensive care, provided free of judgment and regardless of ability to pay. In addition to health care, Callen-Lorde also pioneers research, advocacy, and education to drive positive change around the world, because like me, Callen-Lorde believes that health care is a human right. Join me by making a donation of any amount this June in support of Callen-Lorde’s lifesaving work.

Step 4: Click join, then share your fundraising page! On your page, you will see options to edit your page, copy your unique link, and share on social media.
