This F-4C Phantom II, tail number 64-0777 has a storied history in Vietnam, as well a part of the 142nd Fighter Wing's history at the Oregon Air National Guard base in Portland, Oregon, during the 1980s. The Oregon Military Museum (OMM) has an opportunity to acquire this aircraft.
#777 is in excellent condition and will not require restoration. While there are no costs in the acquisition, there are $79,000 in estimated costs associated with its disassembly, shipping, and reassembly in transporting #777 back home to Oregon, where it will be placed on public display at the Oregon Military Museum in Clackamas, Oregon.
