Rainbow Cafe LGBTQ Center is hosting Southern Illinois' 3rd annual community Pride Prom for 2024! Get your gayest formalwear ready and come for a night you won't forget - this year on Saturday, May 4th and is STAR WARS THEMED! 🌌 This year, we've moved Pride Prom to the MDH Airport Hangar and catered by St. Nick's - all thanks to our generous sponsorship from Gilead! 🤩 Pride Prom is open to EVERYONE as an alcohol-free event and all-ages event, so don't be afraid to come and show off your moves! Tickets will be $20 if bought in advance, and $25 when purchased at the door on May 4th. Tickets are limited, so purchase soon! 🎟️ Entertainment: DJ Keith 🎵 Free prom photos by Kim Needham 📷 THIS YEAR WILL HAVE *TWO* PRIDE PROM COURTS! 👑 Both prom courts will have three spots up for grabs: Pride Prom King 🤴, Queen 👸, and In-Between 🤴! Our Youth Court will be open to anyone ages 25 and under, while our Adult Court will be open to anyone ages 25 and older. 2024 candidates must not have won court in 2023 to apply, and must select only one court to compete in. Pride Prom Court nominations will be open soon, and will be open until Saturday, April 27th at 11:59 PM. Voting for Pride Prom Court takes place DURING Pride Prom, and winners will be announced near the end of the evening.
