It's Giving Tuesday all week!
Ty Herndon's Foundation For Love & Acceptance was started with a simple vision - host a concert to help make country music a more inclusive place for LGBTQ allies, artists, and fans. For ten years, the Concert For Love & Acceptance provided an annual stage for that work. Then, following Ty's revealing personal stories about his own struggles with mental health, trauma, and addiction in the pages of People Magazine in 2022, the Foundation expanded its mission to include support for those dealing with similar life challenges.
Organizations who have benefited from the Foundation include GLAAD, MusiCares, ACM Lifting Lives, the Oasis LGBTQ Youth Center in Nashville, Bianca Page Day, and more. And today, in addition to providing micro-grants for those in the country music family experiencing mental health and addiction crises, the Foundation is in a powerful partnership with education provider Everfi to provide mental health wellness education to students, impacting more than 300 schools across Mississippi, Kansas, Georgia, Florida, Missouri, Kentucky, Texas, and Washington, DC.
The Foundation has no overhead - no office, no full time staff- so every dollar you give will go to support this important work.
