Join us for our Annual Ugly Sweater Bunco! This Giving Tuesday, we will be raising funds to help cover medical costs of the dogs & cats in our care. The two ladies featured on our flier, Esther (blonde) & Sweet Tart, both came to us in need of medical procedures. We always make sure that the dogs & cats get the procedures needed to ensure that they are able to live life to the fullest n their forever homes! Sweet Tart is a sweetie! She's a 7 year old, 12 pound Chihuahua blend who joined us from Yuma. When she arrived to us, we realized that she had a lump near her spay scar. The lump was diagnosed as a mammary mass and was thankfully ruled as benign. During her surgery, they found several other lumps, a hernia, and that she desperately needed a dental. They scheduled her for a dental which will happen the first week on November. During her cleaning, they will also repair her hernia and remove her 2nd large lump. Sweet Tart is residing in an amazing foster home who will comfort her through recovery from these procedures.

Meet Esther! This spunky, loving girl is nine years young! She is a Chihuahua blend that came to us from Apache Junction Animal Control. Esther was found with three other dogs as a stray and was a chunky little thing - or so they thought. Esther had a puppy at the age of nine which means she had to wait eight weeks before she could be spayed. Thankfully, one of our amazing foster homes scooped her up to hold on to her for those eight weeks. While in foster, Esther was bit by a bug and had a reaction to it. She was checked out by the vet where they determined she needed allergy pills and would be on the upswing. Esther gets spayed and a dental at the end of October and will be able to meet her forever family after she is all healed up!

These two ladies are two of many we have had this year need medical procedures. All money raised at our fundraisers directly benefit the medical animals' care costs. We appreciate your donation!
