What Is Art + Ice Cream?

Gabrielle Senza’s Art + Ice Cream initiative is a grassroots effort to bring people together through the power of art and creativity. We’re working with local artists, musicians, and poets to host fun, interactive pop-up events in communities across the U.S., where people can connect, create, and learn how to vote. These events combine art-making, live performances, and free ice cream to inspire civic engagement in a joyful, inclusive way.

Using the power of creativity, connection, and celebration around our shared values, we hope to inspire everyone to get involved in protecting our country's democracy.

How Your Donation Helps:

Your contribution will directly support artists in bringing Art + Ice Cream pop-up events to their local communities. Here’s how:

$100 provides materials for a community art-making station.
$200 funds a live performance by a local musician or poet.
$300 covers event logistics, like permits or transportation.
$500 sponsors an entire pop-up event in a key location!

We’re providing mini-grants to artists, musicians, and poets to make these events happen. With every pop-up, we’ll create a space where creativity and connection inspire people to register to vote, make a plan to vote, and understand the importance of their voice in our democracy.
