In Memory of Delanie Fekert

On October 8, 2022, the Ivy Rehab community lost one of our brightest teammates. 

Delanie Fekert lit up every room she walked into with her infectious smile and distinctive laugh. She was passionate about Irish Step Dancing, rooting for her beloved Yankees, and spending time outdoors. Delanie had a profound impact on every life she touched. She brought out the absolute best in both her patients and colleagues alike. She cared wholeheartedly for her patients and truly loved being a Physical Therapist while serving the Long Island Community. She had a long successful career ahead of her and valued continued education. She was ecstatic to begin the Ivy Rehab/HSS Orthopedic Residency Program next year and was looking forward to tying that together with her love of dance and performing arts. 

We at Ivy Rehab wish to continue Delanie’s passion and love of learning by creating a Scholarship in her honor. Funds collected in addition to a company match will cover the annual costs for an Ivy Teammate towards the Ivy Rehab/HSS Orthopedic Residency Program. This legacy will continue annually for years to come. There is no obligation to contribute, and donations are not tax deductible.
