We are reaching out to you to ask that you consider supporting our volunteer organization in its endeavor to improve the lives of stray, abused and neglected animals in a county that like so many others lacks adequate animal welfare.

Faith Animal Rescue Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization formed exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. Our mission is simply to promote and provide programs that minimize pet overpopulation. We believe that by reducing the number of unwanted animals we will decrease the number of abandoned and neglected animals lessening instances of euthanasia in otherwise healthy animals. We strive to improve the lives of pets which in turn improves our community making it a better place to live and conduct business. We have brought low cost spay and neuter to our county (thanks to S.A.F.E.)and have implemented a feral cat sterilization program.

We are applying for grants to do even more in our community. Without funding we can only advocate for the welfare of the animals. We have a vision of doing much more but without the financial support the scope of what we will be able to accomplish will be limited. Crawford County has made news headlines in the recent past with negative animal issues; such as arrests for dog fighting and dogs tragically taking someone’s life. It would be wonderful for our county to be recognized as a county that cares not only for one another but for the animals that are dependent upon us.

Our dreams are big but our bank account is not. We have personal land in the county that we would like to donate to build a “shelter” as a temporary facility for animals to be cared for and trained while a loving forever home is found. Due to the lack of financial support we will not be able to construct this larger facility that would have allowed us to assist with the dog issues. 
We have purchased a 10x16 portable building that we are upgrading to accommodate a small number of kittens. Having implemented a Trap/Spay/Neuter/Release program for cats in our county this allows us to take in kittens born to these cats so the feral colony ends with them. They are vetted,  socialized and adopted to approved homes.
