Fresh Check Day Fund

Thank you for supporting the Fresh Check Day Fund, which covers the cost of registration and materials for schools that can't afford Fresh Check Day, JPF's signature program, but want to host it on their campus.

Since 2023, we have asked schools for $1,000 to register for Fresh Check Day. We can no longer afford to offer the program free of charge, which has been our practice since 2012 when the program was founded.

Your donation of any amount will support those schools that seek help with registration fees. Currently, more than a dozen schools have requested help with registration fees. We expect more schools to ask for assistance as the year goes along, which is why our goal is $20,000 - to cover a projected number of 20 schools.

JPF does not turn any school away from hosting Fresh Check Day but needs your help to offset the cost of offering our uplifting, engaging, and life-saving program.

Fresh Check Day works so well to promote mental health and prevent suicide that the Suicide Prevention Resource Center  approved the program's inclusion in its Best Practice Registry.

Tens of thousands of youth have been made aware of FCD over the past 13 years. Compassionate donors like you will help us reach even more, who will experience the program's life-saving, life-improving benefits.

But don't just take our word for it. Here's what Karyn C. at Stonehill College had to say about Fresh Check Day

"I am not the only person who has been inspired and affected by Fresh Check Day. It has the ability to not only change lives but to save them as well. Thank you to everyone who donates or is involved in Fresh Check Day in any way possible. Your support is without a doubt making a difference and there are not enough words to thank you for what you do.

Thank you for showing not only me, but everyone who has attended that no one is alone, help is always available, and it is always OK to talk about mental health; thank you for teaching us these lessons and many more."
