TCNE is holding a fundraising auction at First Event Conference 2026!

TCNE, in conjunction with STAR Benefit Auctions, presents the First Event Conference 2026 live fundraising auction!

Did you know that TCNE is run by volunteers and there is no paid staff for TCNE or First Event?! Being community driven, First Event relies on the generosity of donors to help us make First Event happen.

To Connect You to Your Path is the mission of TCNE and is demonstrated most visibly with our annual conference, First Event. First Event opens the door for trans* and gender expansive people and those who love and support them to literally hundreds of resources, connections, and education all in one location.

For First Event 2026, we have added new programming to expand diversity and inclusion. We are also implemented sliding-scale pricing to make our conference more equitable. We expanded our Ken Garber Equitable Access grant program to 50 recipients, who will receive a conference ticket, lodging, and three meals on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday of the conference at no cost to them. And more changes to come!

TCNE is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with low expenses and no paid staff, so nearly all of donated monies are used to fund First Event and other community-building events.
