Our 2024 Cocktail Fundraiser addressed one of the greatest challenges our city faces today: Housing Across Generations, where 50% of the funds raised went towards our Housing Ambassador Program.

Giving Tuesday will remain focused on supporting seniors like Ramón (watch his story) and vulnerable communities in securing permanent, affordable housing. Your contributions will make a lasting impact, allowing us to continue providing critical support and accessible programming.

WHO WE ARE

FundaveNYC (pronounced FUND-AH-VEH NYC) accelerates the transition of immigrants to become thriving NYC residents through humanitarian response, economic empowerment and personal development.

We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit who also serves as New York City Housing Ambassador organization certified by the Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD).

We see a need, desire and challenge amongst immigrant populations in accessing resources available in our city. FundaveNYC seeks to meet this need, to inspire, empower and support individual opportunity and ownership of success.

OUR IMPACT

Between 2022 and 2023, we served over 28,000 people. Over 200 families have obtained permanent and affordable housing through our Affordable Housing program.

The intimate, first-hand understanding of our global family’s needs sets us apart in providing effective short-term assistance and building long-term solutions for asylum seekers and migrants.

Our emphasis on relationship-building creates a strong community that contributes significantly to resolving the struggles our city faces, such as workforce shortages, affordable housing access, and migration crises.
