"Indigenous Jesus Said Go disciple makers are working in West African unreached people groups (98% non-Christian) sharing the gospel in Bible storytelling groups they organized. Storytelling is a great way to share the gospel in these places because most people can’t read. Disciple makers multiply disciple makers that multiply disciple makers and so on.

But here’s the really cool part - Bible storytelling sparks a desire to read the Bible – and we love that! Literacy evangelists step in to feed the desire by teaching people to read and then give each new reader a Bible. Indigenous teachers, storytellers, disciples, and pastors team up to refer participants to literacy and story groups.

Our national partners have carefully vetted and trained literate, indigenous Christians from several unreached people groups. They are now teaching others to read who will teach others to read, creating a ripple effect of new readers! Teachers report their progress using their cell phones to text our online reporting system for accountability and coaching."
