All Fishers High School students will be given the opportunity to chose from a list of service projects on Friday, April 26th. As a school community, it is our desire that students have the opportunity to serve others in our community. We have given the FHS student leadership an opportunity to help lead and facilitate this day of service. One of this projects is a meal packing in partnership with Million Meal Movement event to benefit hungry Hoosiers. Your donation will help students fundraise to support their goal of packing 15,000 meals for their local community! Million Meal Movement has a two-fold mission: feeding the hungry and teaching the importance of volunteerism. We feed the hungry in our community by delivering meals to food banks and food pantries throughout Indiana. We unite our community by empowering volunteers of all ages and backgrounds to make a difference through hands-on, high-energy meal packing events. Million Meal Movement’s vision is an Indiana where its residents can hunger for something greater than their next meal.
