Who is Food Equality Initiative?

At Food Equality Initiative (FEI), we believe that access to nourishing food is a fundamental human right. Our Food is Medicine campaign fights for nutrition security and health equity by increasing access to healthy foods for individuals experiencing food insecurity and chronic conditions like type 2 diabetes and heart disease. Despite the availability of food assistance programs, nutrition insecurity remains a pressing issue, fueling the chronic illnesses that disproportionately affect historically excluded populations.
