Catch On to Fitness: Every Step Supports a Story!

Join us for a 20-day community fitness and wellness scavenger hunt (October 7th-26th) that combines movement, mindfulness, and literacy! From walking trails and yoga to reading breaks and kindness activities, each step you take supports the Communi-Tea Book Club, which provides free books and literacy programs for youth and families across Indianapolis.

This is more than a challenge—it’s a movement. Together, let’s reach our $5,000 fundraising goal to fuel brighter futures through fitness and literacy.

Choose Your Impact – Make a one-time gift or create your own fundraising page to rally support. Join one of our existing teams-Tea's Me Cafe, Catch the Stars Vols or Communi-Tea Book Club, or create your own!
Get Your Toolkit – Receive your 20-day tracker and activity guide to follow along.
Move for Literacy – Complete daily activities, share your journey on social media (#CatchOntoFitness #StepsForStories), and invite friends to give.
Celebrate Together – Wrap up the challenge at our Trick or Treat Trail at Tarkington Park on Saturday, Oct. 25 at Tarkington Park! Fitness Challenge Registration includes participation in the Trick or Treat Trail.

Donation Impact Levels

$25 – Fuel a Reader: Provides 3-5 free books for local youth.
$50 – Ignite a Spark: Funds a mini “pop-up” book club session.
$100 – Build a Shelf: Supports 20+ free books for community distribution.
$250 – Power Chapter: Covers a full book club experience for 40–50 local youth.
$500 – Literacy Champion: Supports a community-wide book distribution event.
$1,000 – Legacy Sponsor: Helps fund multiple pop-up book clubs, literacy field trips, and youth author events for an entire year.

Join us for an afternoon of movement, magic & memories as we combine fitness with festive Halloween fun! Families will walk a themed trail filled with:

-Games, Prizes & Giveaways
-Mini Fitness Challenges
-Costume Contests
-Healthy Snacks & Water Station

The Communi-Tea Book Club isn’t just about reading—it’s about creating safe spaces, sparking imagination, and building lifelong learners. With your support, we’ll ensure that every child has access to books, mentorship, and opportunities to grow.Many kids in our community have never owned a book of their own. Through Catch the Stars, we’ve distributed over 5,000 books and hosted free reading events across the city. Your support helps us expand that impact—and inspires the next generation of readers and leaders.
