FOCUS works diligently to serve the multitude of individuals in Newark and Essex County with needs that often are neglected or whose advancement is impeded because of language barriers, literacy levels or isolation. Our many services to the community support individuals and families from the very young to the elderly: services to seniors, family support, youth development, emergency assistance, adult protective services, educational and vocational job readiness training.

The challenging economic climate compounds poverty, multiplying the needs of those we serve, making the work we do that much more urgent.
