Welcome to the first Kid Bowl! We are tackling childhood cancer together while enjoying a friendly competition.

The mission at NoahBRAVE is to provide personalized support, raise awareness, and fund research for kids and their families battling a terminal brain cancer diagnosis. In honoring Noah’s BRAVE life, we are committed to helping families know they are seen, loved, and not alone as they fight brain cancer.

Dragon Master Initiative’s mission is to accelerate cures for childhood cancer by harnessing the power of data and collaboration. We bring together researchers, hospitals, and families to share critical information that leads to faster discoveries and better treatments. Inspired by David, who loved dragons and was a light for so many people, we’re committed to building a future where every child has access to the best possible care and no family faces cancer alone.

Each of these schools hold a special place in the hearts of the founders of these two nonprofits.

Auburn is not only the alma mater of the NoahBRAVE founder, Lori Evans, where she competed in college gymnastics, but it’s the birthplace of her three sons, and where they lived for 18 years before moving to the Nashville area in 2016. Three years later, in the fall of 2019, Noah was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer and given 6 to 12 months to live. Noah battled bravely for 16-months and after he passed away, the NoahBRAVE foundation came to life.

For Dragon Master Initiative co-founder, Amanda Haddock, the University of Alabama holds a special place in her heart. Growing up in Northport, just across the river from Tuscaloosa, Amanda was surrounded by generations of family who proudly called themselves die-hard Alabama fans. Saturdays in the fall weren’t just about football — they were a way of life. The sounds of the game, the sea of crimson, and the shared spirit of the community became an immersive part of her upbringing and a lasting reminder of the strength that comes from coming together for something bigger than yourself.

The Auburn vs Alabama rivalry is one of the greatest in college athletics. It’s been known to divide dinner tables and family reunions. Since Amanda hails from Tuscaloosa and Lori spent most of her adult life in Auburn, the idea to bring this competition from the football field to tackle childhood cancer was born. Whether you bleed Crimson or Orange and Blue, yell Roll Tide or War Eagle, your donation helps both nonprofits support clinical research and the families who are in the midst of the battle.
