Our mission is to provide and promote hope, healing, and justice for abused children so that every child can grow and develop in an healthy environment free from abuse. We aim to restore the lives of abused children and ultimately end the cycle of abuse.

Without a CAC, an abused child may have to relay their traumatic experience over and over again in settings that are scary or where kids think that they're in trouble. Then, families are on their own searching for the services their children need.

At the CAC, a child relays their experience to a trained interviewer who is able to find facts, which are crucial to the child's case, while listening to an unfiltered narrative in the child’s own words. This process not only puts the child at ease, but it also keeps the child from being retraumatized. Then, a community of professionals in medicine, law enforcement, child protective services, prosecution, victim advocacy, and other heroes work through the CAC to decide how best to help the child. CACs then provide evidence-based mental health care that helps these brave young survivors heal from their trauma and provides hope. This community of caring professionals rallies around the child so they have everything they need, all in one place, at the CAC.
