Family Promise of Southern Delaware is pleased to present our first Fall Festival on September 22nd from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The festival will feature local musical artists all day including Soul Chase, Sticky G, The Keith White Duo, and the Funsters!

Craft Vendors and Food Trucks will be available, along with a cash bar.

Crafting Stations and Face Painting for the little ones, will all be available for free.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the programs of Family Promise of Southern Delaware.

The Mission of Family Promise of Southern Delaware (FPSDE) is to help low-income families in Sussex County who are facing or at risk of becoming homeless achieve housing stability and sustainable independence. Through our targeted, community-based approach, we assist families facing eviction to navigate community services, by paying back rent, or utility shut-offs. We also enable families to move into their housing from hotel programs and other transitional or temporary situations by providing needed assistance and support, including security deposits and the first month’s rent. In addition to financial resources, FPSDE provides case management to assist families to identify and address barriers to continued housing stability for as long as the family requires assistance. FPSDE has been selected to provide Rapid Rehousing services to families in Sussex County in July 2024. This additional service will represent an expansion of our current services and will include assisting families to locate and secure housing following an eviction or bout of homelessness.
