Family Promise is the leading national nonprofit addressing family homelessness, providing homelessness prevention, emergency shelter, workforce development, education, financial capability, health and wellness, and so much more.

Since early July of 2005, Family Promise of Knoxville has served hundreds of families with children experiencing homelessness in Knox County and the surrounding area. Through the incredible support of our faith-based congregations and churches, we have been a place of safety, shelter, and certainty while a family rebuilds their life. Together, our network of more than 1500 volunteers, clergy, board members, and staff strive to give families the space to work out their own story of renewal and a second chance. We believe that every family's future begins with a home. We are looking for the best way to equip, encourage, and empower parents to pursue their dream of home-ownership and independence.
