My name is Michelle Snyder, the Founder and VP of The Foundation for Research of the Enzmann Archive, Inc. (FREA), based in Massachusetts. We are dedicated to preserving and publishing Dr. Robert Duncan-Enzmann's life’s work in Space Mission Planning. At his passing in 2020, he left this vast Archive of work and many unpublished manuscripts to this foundation to preserve and publish.

The USA has forgotten what we learned from the space program that began in the 1940s - pre-NASA. In fact, most people do not know we had a space program before NASA. Dr. Enzmann was the beginning and foundation of space mission planning and engineering in the late 1930s for the military. His military work is secret but his space mission plans grew outside of the military. He worked with von Braun and others and from that Apollo was launched. Enzmann's plans were canceled after Apollo 17 but he continued his work on his own. It is recorded in the Enzmann Archive and left to FREA to publish. We need help doing that.

The Grand Design is what Enzmann called his space mission plan. He wrote a book decades ago explaining this amazing process in intricate detail. FREA’s Grand Design Project is to produce the book and create a documentary; an animated presentation of his greatest and most elegant feat of engineering, the Enzmann Echolance Starships, the shipyard to construct them, and several utility vehicles to accompany and support their long-passage efforts. This is not science fiction, it is a representation of a possible future.

Enzmann had the calculations, engineering, and process for colonizing space in the 1940s. Mars was first, then interstellar colonies. He projected that by the 1980s we would be on Mars. Both Dr. Enzmann and the infamous Wernher von Braun worked together. Only a handful of people today are even aware that we could have done this more than half a century ago – so, if it was possible then, why did we not go? Why are we still not going?

The Grand Design Project will show how the Enzmann Starship was peer-reviewed in 1964 by the New York Academy of Sciences and again in 2012 by the British Interplanetary Society and considered viable. It was ready in the 1980s. With a stunning video and a mind-blowing book, FREA can ignite interest in what is possible - and has been possible for decades. Space travel requires public passion and the public needs to see what can be - and could have been - done. FREA wants to create the spark for this public passion.

FREA asks for your support to ensure that the marvelous engineering in the Enzmann Archive can provide its invaluable contribution of technology to the current space mission efforts. Even supergiants like Elon Musk do not know what Enzmann knew 50 years ago. Modern businesses that deal with space will benefit from Enzmann's knowledge - which, despite its age, is still not known. This is truly mindblowing.

We are building two AI characters, one called Bob, and the other a science fiction character of his creation - Althea. These two AI programs will be trained on a closed system to retrieve answers solely from the Enzmann Archive. This will save a lot of time when compiling manuscripts of Dr. Enzmann's work.
