OUR STORY
The Flathead Warming Center saves lives and LINKs our unhoused neighbors to the tools and resources needed to move beyond homelessness. Giving Tuesday is an opportunity to raise the funds needed to care for our neighbors. "We take care of each other in the Flathead." Your contribution makes you the hero of our story and you help change the stories of several people in our community who are hurting.

HOW IS THIS DONE?
Be a part of the solution in our community. Welcome people inside to warmth and safety, just as they are. Low-barrier is not low-standards. Everyone has expectations to maintain a safe shelter. Everyone is held accountable. It is a person's behavior that determines their stay. WE ARE MORE THAN A BED. We are more than just a coat. We are much more than just "well-intended". Our community's professional resources and services come directly inside the Warming Center to LINK our guests to the tools and resources needed to move beyond homelessness. It is best practice to provide resources in the same location where individuals' basic needs are met. This is exactly what we do inside the Flathead Warming Center. We continue to see success.
