Our movements need excellent facilitators in order to survive, adapt, and thrive. Drawing from our personal experiences working in schools, organizations, and movements, and tools and frameworks from Niyonu Spann, N'Tanya Lee, and Mia Mingus, we will invite reflection for facilitators on how to approach conflict that emerges in a meeting or training. This workshop is open to anyone who is looking to develop their skill in facilitation centering care, accountability, and cooperation. No previous facilitation experience is required. Masks are encouraged and will be provided. Please stay home if you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, have tested positive, or had a recent exposure. Doors will open at 9:30am and we will start promptly at 10:00am; we encourage you to arrive prior to our start time to allow yourself time to get settled in. Lunch will be provided. If you have any dietary restrictions/allergies please contact: Christian Mendoza at [email protected] If you have any other questions or concerns please contact: Lindsey Tengatenga at [email protected] <br> 1119 Main St, Bridgeport, CT 06604, USA
