Welcome to STSA’s 2023 Swim-A-Thon

St. Thomas Swimming Association swimmers will participate in a Swim-A-Thon on Saturday, October 7, 2023. The St. Thomas Swimming Association is a dynamic and passionate community that thrives on nurturing talent, promoting fitness, and ensuring water safety. For over three decades, our dedicated coaches and volunteers have worked to provide top-notch swim training to individuals of all ages and abilities. From teaching children their first strokes to supporting aspiring Olympians, we are committed to helping individuals reach their full potential in the water. To ensure our continued success and growth, we are embarking on a fundraising campaign with a dual purpose. Half of the funds raised will go directly to our dedicated swimmers, helping to offset their travel costs as they compete and represent our association. The other half will be allocated to our pool's capital campaign, addressing critical needs such as grouting repairs, cistern cleaning and sealing, and exterior painting. What is the STSA Swim-A-Thon?

All age group swimmers swim as many laps as they can during the time period. Each swimmer has a goal or laps they are planning to swim that has been set by their coach. Swimmers can ask family and friends to pledge money for every lap they swim or for a flat donation.

How Do We Make Donations for the Swim-A-Thon?

Please follow the directions below for information on how to join the STSA fundraiser for the STSA 2023 Swim-A-Thon to fundraise in support of your swimmer(s). All proceeds will benefit the St. Thomas Swimming Association and its swimmers. Link to Join:

Payments can be made via Credit Card or Venmo. To donate with Venmo, navigate to the campaign on Givebutter using your smartphone or tablet.

Tips: Please note that GiveButter does not charge any processing fees to use their service which is why there is an option to “tip” them when you submit payment. The tip amount can be manually changed to $0 at check out or you may donate to help support their efforts.

Corporate Matching: Don’t forget to see if your employer has a Corporate Matching Gift Program. Many Corporations will match their employee’s contributions to non-profit organizations. This is a great way to increase the money you raise.
