FEATURING DON DAVIS

Dr. Don Davis is the Senior Director of Player Affairs, and the Senior Advisor to the Executive Director for the National Football League Players Association. The NFLPA is the union that governs the professional football players of the NFL. In addition to these roles and responsibilities, Don serves alongside the Pro Athletes Outreach whose goal is to minister to professional athletes who are aiming to balance football, family, finances, and faith.

Prior to these roles, Don was a former veteran linebacker for 11 years, and he earned two Super Bowl rings with the New England Patriots. He then transitioned to serve as the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach and Team Chaplain in 2007 after Don was chosen specifically by Patriot’s Coach Bill Belichick. As Don continued to pursue his passions, he developed his educational resume. He successfully completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Development, earned a Master's degree in Business Administration, and concluded with a Doctorate of Education. 

Don has been intentional with utilizing his vast experiences to enrich the lives of varying audiences. With his skill of being a dynamic communicator, Don has not only impacted the daily lives of NFL players, but also business leaders, community organizations, schools, and many more! He has a passion to facilitate a culture of leadership, collaboration, accountability and excellence.

In the midst of all of these accomplishments, Don most importantly is rooted in his faith and has a devoted love for his family. Don and his wife, Yannette, have been faithfully married for 22 years. The two of them are blessed to have raised two beautiful daughters together. Don’s passion and motivation to lead with integrity is sourced by his faith and the encouragement from his family.
