Our Mission:

The Fathers of Impact: Empowering Generations Fundraising Event is a collaborative effort between Furthering Fathering and YKJ EmpowerU Nation Inc. to raise funds for critical programs supporting fatherhood, leadership, entrepreneurship, youth outreach, and reentry. Our goal is to raise $1,000,000 to ensure we can expand and sustain programs that empower fathers, support youth, foster entrepreneurship, and help formerly incarcerated individuals reintegrate into society successfully.

This hybrid event, taking place on December 4, 2024, at Silk at Candler (2930 Ember Dr, Decatur, GA 30034) and virtually via VBH Events, will feature panel discussions, live entertainment, a silent auction, and a vendor marketplace. All proceeds will go directly toward the programs run by Furthering Fathering and YKJ EmpowerU Nation Inc..

The Vision Behind Fathers of Impact:

At Furthering Fathering and YKJ EmpowerU Nation, we believe in the power of community, leadership, and second chances. Our vision is to provide:

    •    Fatherhood & Leadership Programs: Offering tools and resources for fathers to become strong leaders in their homes and communities.
    •    Youth Outreach Programs: Empowering young people through mentorship, leadership training, and personal development, preparing them for success.
    •    Entrepreneurship Support: Providing training, workshops, and networking opportunities to help local entrepreneurs and small business owners thrive.
    •    Reentry Programs: Supporting formerly incarcerated individuals through mentorship, training, and job readiness programs to ensure a smooth transition back into society.

This event will serve as both a fundraising initiative and a celebration of community impact, where fathers, youth, leaders, entrepreneurs, and community members come together to make a real difference.
