Story
Established in 1935, the SPCA Albrecht Center for Animal Welfare, a non-profit organization operating under IRS Section 501c3 ,placed thousands of homeless animals into loving furever homes for over 85 years. We are a community powered and community centered organization, depending on local donations and volunteers to continue our life-saving work. Above all else, the SPCA Albrecht Center is an organization fighting for the welfare of animals. We continue to find homes for over 95% of the homeless animals that come to out facility, which is only attainable thanks to the incredible adopters that open their hearts and homes to the animals that pass through our doors.
We are delighted to host our fall gala event to raise money for the homeless animals in our care. The event is called, Wags, Wine, and Whiskers Celebrating 10 years of the SPCA Albrecht Center. It will take place on Sunday, October 9th,2022, from 5pm-8pm, at the historic Constantine House, 3406 Richland Ave W., Aiken, S.C. Ticket prices are $75.00 which includes dinner, dessert, and two drink tickets. We are also having live music by the Aiken Civic Orchestra String Quartet, along with a raffle drawing, silent auction, and a cash bar.
The Food Menu:
Stuffed Pork Loin with Gravy or Eggplant Parmigiana Pasta
Sides: potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and rolls
Dessert: Apple Betty
** Drink tickets include wine, beer or soft drink! Bottle water is available for all no charge.**
Our success is due to the efforts of dedicated SPCA Albrecht Center employees and volunteers, support from our Board of Directors, as well as the generous donations and continued support of our animal-loving community.
We envision a world in which every animal has a safe and loving home, access to quality veterinary care, and where the unfailing love and devotion of a companion animal is valued by all.
