USAOCR’s Level 1 Assistant Coach Certification Program is designed to educate aspiring coaches on how to train their athletes on different aspects of Obstacle Course Racing. We aim to support, inspire, and engage obstacle course racing athletes at all levels.

Program Design

This course is designed for trainers who wish to add Obstacle Course expertise to their programs. The course does not teach you how to teach, and is not suitable for inexperienced trainers. We suggest a minimum of 12 months full time teaching or equivalent as a certified personal trainer, strength and conditioning coach, PE teacher or similar certification.

USAOCR is 100% volunteer. All proceeds are going to the USAOCR to fund future growth of the sport we all love in the USA.
