Feed the Deserved

Soar Solutions Youth Center (SSYC) hosts the Feed The Deserved event annually on Thanksgiving Eve, providing hot meals to houseless individuals while engaging local youth in hands-on community service.

Purpose & Impact:

• Serves hot meals to those in need, offering nourishment and comfort.
• Provides youth with a learning experience in empathy, decision-making, and giving back to the community.
• Strengthens the spirit of kindness and community action by bringing people together.

Past Achievements:

• In the previous year, 348 houseless individuals received meals.
• SSYC partnered with local businesses to expand outreach and increase support.

How the Community Can Help:

• Food Donations & Partnerships: Local businesses and restaurants are invited to contribute hot meals.
• Volunteering: Youth and community members can participate in meal service and outreach.
• Monetary Support: Donations help fund meals and resources for those in need.
