Dear Friends,

After 16 months together at our new location and navigating the uncertainty of these times, it is great to be able to once again come together in person with our growing community.

This spring we are holding a community walk for world peace at Saluda Shoals Park and vegetarian potluck in the Environmental Center.  We hope this will become an annual event.

The proceeds raised from fundraisers like the Walk for Peace provides our Kadampa Meditation Center with invaluable financial support needed to continue to have a center for our local Kadampa community and beyond. Class fees and memberships definitely help, but particularly since the pandemic, are lower than operating expenses.

We deeply value our community, what we have built together, and despite so much adversity over these last couple of years, we look forward to continue to make available to as many as possible, the precious method of meditation and helping to bring more inner peace, love, compassion, and wisdom into this world.
