This Easter season, The Food Bank, Inc. is calling on the you to help ‘Fill Our Baskets’ and bring hope to families facing food insecurity. Each virtual basket monetary gift helps ensure area families have enough to eat this spring.

"As families come together to celebrate Easter, many in our community are struggling to put food on the table," said Sheila Stewart-Leach, Executive Director. “Our research indicates that between the federal poverty rate and families who are employed, but have limited assets, over 5o% of area households are forced to choose between food and other essential expenses.”

“This Easter, we want to fill baskets with hope, nutritious meals, and support for those who need it most,” she continued. “We’re asking for your help to ensure that no family goes hunger this holiday.”
