Access Psychology Foundation brings evidence-based mental health and wellness services to historically underrepresented communities by training a network of diverse therapists, treating individuals and families from communities of color, and working with schools and organizations that serve minority populations in under-resourced communities.

There are a range of barriers to mental health care facing people from marginalized populations. The cumulative impact of these barriers causes inequity in health outcomes. APF works to address these issues with programmatic initiatives that ensure that individuals, directly or indirectly, impacted by mental health issues will be provided with high-quality, culturally appropriate treatment.

Access Psychology Foundation was founded in 2022 by Dr. Alec L. Miller and Dr. Lata K. McGinn, renowned clinical psychologists and leading experts in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Their expertise and dedication form the bedrock of APF's commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based mental health services.
