For nearly 15 years, the families who found refuge in our shelter have walked, played, learned, and healed on the same carpet and vinyl flooring. Those floors have held thousands of steps, countless bedtime stories, and more moments of safety than we can measure. And after 15 years of constant use, they’re showing it—threadbare, stained, and worn down by the very people they were meant to support.
This winter, we’re replacing the flooring in the family shelter’s hallway, toy room, and living room to ensure every survivor and child who comes through our doors is welcomed into a clean, safe, and dignified space.
The total project cost is $14,085.
Thanks to generous early supporters, we’ve already secured $9,435.
To complete this essential upgrade, we now need to raise $4,650 — or just $850 if labor is donated.
Your Giving Tuesday gift will help transform the heart of our shelter into a warm, healing environment for the families who will call it home this winter and beyond.
Every dollar gets us closer to new flooring—and a fresh start—for survivors rebuilding their lives. Thank you for helping families feel safe, cared for, and at home.
