Alejandro Velazquez's Story
Rugby has given me a large purpose within my time at Northwestern. I originally started out playing sports as a way to escape gun and gang violence in Chicago. However, transitioning to College I knew I likely wouldn’t get to continue playing, however rugby has offered me more than I could dream of. With our team going to nationals we hope to represent all of Northwestern and bring home the hardware!
