I lost my Mom when she was 58 years old to complications from cancer, so this cause is close to my heart.
Nutrition plays an important role in what these kids and families are battling. If I can assist in even the smallest way, why wouldn't I? My participation in Team Green is my way of giving back where I can and paying homage to my mom. To see these kids in the trenches and get to know the families on the other side of cancer is just amazing.
