This is one of the most important structures at the sanctuary and it needs immediate help. Our detached garage holds all of the animals feed, bedding, hay, straw and is a shelter for our feral cats who need this middle ground way of life. They are safe and enclosed in the garage and outdoor attached cattery. The garage has electric, soft beds, litter boxes and enrichment.

This time last year, we experienced rain like our state hasn’t seen in MANY years. It became apparent how bad we needed a new roof so I got to work. I began to apply for grants, enter roofing sweepstakes, write into companies, apply for cat grants. All of this to no avail. I started getting free quotes and finally we found the lowest one.

Apex East roofing can complete this for 4,000.

I believe the fortress community can come together and make this absolutely needed roof happen.

It’s not just our cats that need this building . Every single animal has what they need stored in here. Please never think a single dollar doesn’t add up. We have 15,000 folks following, only 4,000 would need to donate a dollar.
