Dear Community Member,

Imagine a child’s disappointment when they can’t participate in class because they lack basic school supplies. This is a reality for many single mothers and their children in our community. But together, we can change that.

Embracing Hearts Corps, a 501©(3) nonprofit, is launching our 1st Annual Back to School Drive to equip these children for success. A simple donation of $10 can fill a backpack with essential supplies for the 2024-25 school year.

Our fundraiser runs from June 1st to June 30th, and we’re counting on your support. Here’s how you can help:

Donate $10 to sponsor a child’s school supplies.
Contribute supplies from the list below.
Spread the word to others who might want to contribute.

Backpacks Folders
Pencils & Pens Divided Notebooks
Crayons & Markers Glue Sticks & Paper
Clorox Wipes & Kleenex Binders

Donations can be made directly on our Givebutter page or sent to the address above, or dropped off in the donation container on my front porch. This year, with your help, we will be able to support over 50 families. So, let’s aim higher. Your generosity can turn a child’s anxiety into excitement for learning.
