Tater's Skaters Scholarship Program
The Tater’s Skaters Scholarship Fund represents our community’s commitment to making the ice accessible to all kids—whether they’re trying skating for the very first time or taking their first stride into youth hockey. These funds are available for all youth, including those participating in Cutthroats Youth Hockey, Learn to Skate and Friday Out-of-School programming, helping families remove financial barriers so more children can discover the joy, confidence, and connection that come from being part of our rink community.
The scholarship provides up to 50% tuition assistance, focusing on inclusive participation at the local level. (Assistance applies to tuition only and does not cover optional travel or tournament costs.) Awards are based on financial need and eligibility. The number of scholarships varies annually based on available funding and the generosity of our supporters.
As young skaters grow within our programs, we’re committed to supporting their next steps too. Our developing Next Steps Scholarship will help graduating seniors continue their hockey journey beyond the Cutthroats—whether that means playing after high school, stepping into coaching or officiating, or even carrying hockey with them into college.
Families looking to cover remaining tuition beyond the scholarship award can also participate in the Cutthroats Sponsorship Incentive Program, which strengthens ties between our athletes and the community that lifts them up.
