Friends of Sherman & Ruth Weiss Community Library Membership
In the past year the Friends of the Library (a 501(c)(3) organization) has:
- Received a 100 Who Care Grant to purchase room darkening shades in the Children’s Room & financed 25% of the cost
- Purchased several computers for the public/staff
The Friends of the Library continues to:
- Fund the Summer Reading Program (ages 0-12)
- Run the Used Book Room
- Assist with Library functions, such as Celebrate Your Library, Community Programs, and help during the summer
