Meet Trayvon
Trayvon has been incarcerated since 2019. He has two daughters, including a 9-year-old, who he calls his world. “They’re the reason I keep going, the reason I push to be a better person, to learn and grow,” he says.
The Father-Daughter Dance is deeply important to him. “It means I get to see my daughter and actually share an experience with her — to talk one-on-one, face-to-face,” he says. For Trayvon, wearing a suit that day represents growth: “It shows I’m becoming the father I need to be.”
He admits he’s nervous, since he hasn’t seen them in person since 2022. “I don’t think I’ll say anything at first,” he says. “I’ll just hug them and start crying.” What matters most to him is that they walk away knowing one thing: “That I love them. I can’t give back the time I missed, but I’ll be here going forward.”
Give today to help Trayvon share an unforgettable night with his daughters!
