Join Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA) – the only museum in the Southeast devoted exclusively to the study and celebration of all things design – for an invite-only reception in honor of our newest exhibition Full Circle: Design Without End on Thursday, March 31st from 6-8pm.
Full Circle asks how we can strengthen and replenish natural ecosystems and help humans connect to nature as a way of ensuring the health of our planet and ourselves.
The exhibition presents work of designers and creatives from a wide range of disciplines, all of whom are working to rebalance our ecosystems in innovative ways.
Projects address many aspects of everyday life, including fashion, large- and small-scale architecture, farming, gardening, leisure time, education, gaming, and even death.
While Full Circle features work from across the globe, it spotlights a variety of local projects, including the Eco-Arts Common in Avondale Estates by Shades of Green, Serenbe by Nygren Placemaking, White Oaks Pastures in Bluffton, and the Chattahoochee Riverlands Study undertaken by SCAPE Landcsape Architecture with the support of the Atlanta Regional Commission, Cobb County, the City of Atlanta, and the Trust for Public Land.
Full Circle: Design Without End opens to the public March 18th and will remain on view through September 25, 2022. The exhibition is curated by Veronica Klucik, and MODA is grateful to The Kendeda Fund and Perkins&Will for their generous support.
