Fund-A-Need: Staff Training on Conflict Resolution using Restorative Justice
Our students deserve a learning environment where they feel safe, supported, and empowered to thrive. By investing in professional development, we can equip our teachers and school staff with essential skills to manage student conflict in consistent and productive ways.
Restorative justice is a trauma focused approach to conflict resolution that emphasizes healing, accountability, and the restoration of relationships. This approach creates space for students to have open dialogue, mutual understanding, and meaningful repair. Through restorative practices, staff learn to navigate conflict with empathy, build bridges across differences through a trauma informed lens, and foster inclusive environments where every students' voice matters. In schools, this approach has been shown to reduce disciplinary issues, improve accountability, illustrate how one's behaviors and words impact others, all while strengthening the connection of the school culture.
With your support, we can ensure our staff are fully equipped to guide students through challenges with compassion and care. Your donation helps build a more peaceful, connected, and resilient school community—where every student feels seen, heard, and supported.
