Through Futures First: Housing, we are working to end youth homelessness one city at a time — and one life at a time.

The Reality

It costs $90 per day to house and support a young person on their path toward independence.

That $90 provides far more than a bed.

It provides:

• Safe and stable housing
• Life coaching and mentorship
• Job readiness and employment support
• Health and wellness guidance
• Education and workforce navigation
• A personalized plan for independence

The $90 Circle of Support

We believe that solving youth homelessness requires a community effort.

Our innovative Triple-Impact Model brings together three partners to support each young person:

Together, these three contributions create the $90 per day needed to house and support a young person.

How Futures First Changes Lives

When Maurice entered our program, he had been sleeping in a car for three months. Today he has stable housing, a job, and is enrolled in community college.

Our program goes beyond shelter. We help young people build the foundation for a stable and independent life.

Community-Based Housing

Participants live in housing that is embedded within the community, creating a sense of safety, belonging, and connection while they rebuild stability.

Life Skills for Independence

Young adults gain the tools needed to thrive — including financial literacy, job readiness, career exploration, and health and wellness support.

Personalized Case Management

Every participant works closely with a mentor who helps them develop a personalized plan for education, employment, housing stability, and long-term success.
