Please help support NWTRC in our Pledges for Ponies fundraising drive, where our goal is to raise the funds necessary to provide all the care for our program horses for a four-month period, a total of $2500 per horse. After personally providing for the veterinary care of the NWTRC program horses for over 30 years, I know firsthand the costs of veterinary care, from routine preventative health care like wellness exams, laboratory tests, vaccinations and dentistry, to care for health problems like injuries, illness and emergencies such as colic. In addition to veterinary care, there are many other costs, such as feed, supplements, bedding, facilities and farrier. NWTRC has grown and developed over the years, weathering the test of time while providing a wonderful service to our community. Adaptive riding programs assist children and adults with physical and mental disabilities to improve strength and balance, communication skills, confidence, focus and attention.
