Dream of Wild Health
Our mission is to restore health and well-being in the Native community by recovering knowledge of and access to healthy Indigenous foods, medicines, and lifeways.
The vision of DWH is a place for our relatives to gather and rebuild a relationship with the land. Our farm is a model of cultural recovery put into practice. The farm is a safe place for all of our relatives-- plant, animal, and human-- where we care for ancestral seeds.
Your donation supports our programming and ensures we can continue our work. As our beloved late Cultural Director, Ernie Whiteman, often reminded us, “We grow seeds and leaders.” This vision continues to guide our work, nurturing the future of our land, our youth, and our community.
Your gift makes everything we do possible. Unlike project-specific funding, these flexible dollars give us the ability to sustain all of our programs and respond to the greatest needs of our community.
When you contribute, you’re helping Native youth grow as leaders, supporting our 30-acre farm, and making sure our cooking classes, cultural workshops, and community events can continue. You’re also ensuring that we can keep our staff strong, maintain our farm operations, and cover the essential day-to-day needs that keep Dream of Wild Health operating.
Every dollar you donate helps us grow seeds and leaders, work towards food sovereignty, and build a healthier future.
