GALS Capital Campaign Project

The Girls Athletic Leadership School Los Angeles (GALS) is the first all girls public charter middle school in Los Angeles County and the only FREE all girls school in the San Fernando valley.  GALS serves predominantly low income girls of color aged 11-14 years old.  GALS empowers girls to succeed academically  lead confidently, live boldly and thrive physically.

After 3 locations in 6 years and being squeezed out of its current co-location at Panorama High School, GALS finally has its own campus! 

The new GALS Campus serves as a beacon of positivity, empowerment and educational excellence.  It allows for a safe and positive environment to empower girls and allow them to truly shine. The students will be free to be themselves and to lead in their own school.  The project represents an innovative and sustainable approach to school design and construction. The project is environmentally friendly with the use of repurposed single-use shipping containers with net zero energy usage.
